Plain rules for using GetNews. By using the site you agree to them.

1. Information, not advice

GetNews is for general information. It is not financial, legal or professional advice. Buying picks and comparisons are our opinion and may not fit your situation. Check prices, specs and availability with the seller before you buy.

2. Opinion and scores

Hype and Real scores, verdicts, device scores and “for you” lines are editorial opinion based on the sources we link. Prices and specs can change after we publish. Launch prices are the maker’s suggested prices.

3. Other websites

We link to the original sources and other news sites. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content. Headlines on the Wire belong to their publishers and link back to them.

4. Trademarks and independence

Product and company names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Using them does not mean they endorse us. GetNews is independent and is not paid by the companies we cover.

5. Our content

Our text, scores and images belong to GetNews. You may quote a short part with a link to the story. Please don’t copy whole stories or our device data.

6. No guarantee

We work hard to be accurate, but the site is provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the site.

7. Accounts

You can use GetNews without an account. If you sign in with Google, you can delete your account at any time from your profile page, and we delete its data.

8. Changes and contact
