- Announced at a Google Cloud event on October 8. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said it takes "objectives, not just instructions."
- It plans tasks, hands work to sub-agents and connects to Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, BigQuery and Snowflake.
- It picks a model by default, and users can choose one, including Anthropic's Claude models.
- It has its own Workspace account and an audit trail. A tasks inbox shows its reasoning and progress.
- It is in private preview. Wide availability for select Workspace Business and Enterprise plans is "soon". No price or consumer date was given.
